An image symbolising Strategy at Consider

Strategic thinking underpins everything we do at Consider. As a Strategist, you’ll play a key role in helping our clients grow and ensuring the creative work we do is constantly pushing boundaries. This is a role that you’ll be able to take ownership of from the very beginning.

If you’ve got minimum 2 years of Strategy experience, and you’re an expert at managing the fine detail of multiple projects, we want to hear from you.

About us

We’re a creative and strategy agency – and we exist to create ideas and campaigns that make the world better. We do this by defining how organisations communicate – helping them to do good.

How you’ll fit into the team

We’re a passionate and dedicated team, and we’re proud to work with clients in the charity, education and membership sectors who share our values.

As one of Consider’s Strategists, you’ll play a key role in generating insights about our clients’ audiences and developing strategies that help them engage their audiences – supporters, students and members.

You’re a people person who is naturally curious and tapped into cultural, sector and technology trends. You’ll be able to identify problems and opportunities, and be adept at communicating your ideas succinctly to both our clients and our creative team.

You’ll have a number of strategic skills at your disposal and be able to adapt your approach to suit each brief that comes your way. You’ve got experience planning integrated campaigns across different channels, and have a clear point of view on emerging digital trends.

You’ll also love building relationships – whether that’s with creatives, client services, and clients – to make sure our work is the best that it can be. You’ll be managed and mentored by our Strategy Director but will be responsible for owning and cultivating your own client projects and relationships.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Planning, undertaking and distilling your own primary research, both qualitative and quantitative
  • Constantly reviewing sector and digital trends to identify opportunities for our clients
  • Generating compelling insights that provide opportunities to connect with our clients’ audiences in new ways
  • Writing and delivering inspiring, focused, creative briefs for our creative teams
  • Overseeing creative work with empathy, tact and a clear point of view
  • Planning and moderating workshops with a number of senior client stakeholders
  • Mapping multi-channel supporter and member journeys
  • Confidently presenting your thinking to clients and senior team
  • Advising clients and teams on channels, formats and content
  • Working closely with the Client Services Team to write and challenge client briefs, and identify the strategic response
  • Being a ‘go-to’ for strategic guidance across Consider and our clients
  • Working on opportunities to develop and grow clients, including supporting our new business and business development efforts
  • Contributing to our marketing efforts with thought leadership, articles and other relevant content that builds on our strategic credentials.

The kind of person we’re looking for:

  •  You have a solid foundation of research skills – in particular with qualitative and quantitative research
  • You have proven experience in thinking and working strategically
  • You are endlessly curious and have a passion for the charity, education and membership sectors
  • You are confident presenting and clearly communicating your thinking to our team and clients
  • You have excellent writing skills
  • You know how to blend of ‘big picture’ thinking with the finer detail of a campaign
  • You are comfortable working across different digital and offline channels
  • You are a people person and enjoy working as part of a small team
