Strategic thinking underpins everything we do at Consider, and as a Junior Strategist you will play a key supporting role in making it happen, to help our clients grow and ensure the creative work we do is constantly pushing boundaries.

This is a role that you’ll be able to get stuck into and take ownership of from the very beginning. You’re excited about working on multiple projects and have a minimum of one years’ agency experience.

As one of Consider’s Strategists, you’ll play a key role in helping to generate insights about our clients’ audiences and developing strategies that help them engage their supporters, students and members in the Charity, Education and Membership sectors.

You’re a people person who is naturally curious and tapped into cultural, sector and technology trends, and shares them with your colleagues and clients.

You’ll be able to identify problems and opportunities, and be adept at communicating your ideas clearly and succinctly. You already have some of the fundamental skills a strategist needs, and you’re keen to learn and develop them with every brief that comes your way.

You have a clear point of view on what makes a great campaign, and know where to look to uncover a pointy insight. You enjoy building relationships with the team around you, to make sure our work is the best that it can be.

You will be managed and mentored by our Strategy Director and will be responsible for delivering work across a number of our clients.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Helping to plan and undertake primary and secondary research – including quantitative, qualitative and desk research to support client projects, pitches and business growth opportunities
  • Helping to plan and moderate internal and external workshops
  • Supporting the team in distilling research and developing multichannel strategies that meet clients’ objectives
  • Reviewing client briefs and identifying the opportunities and challenges
  • Keeping on top of sector and digital trends to identify opportunities for our clients
  • Writing and delivering inspiring, focused, creative briefs
  • Helping to oversee creative work with empathy, tact and a clear point of view
  • Confidently presenting your thinking to clients and senior team
  • Advising our teams on channels, formats and content
  • Supporting on our new business and business development efforts
  • Contributing to our marketing efforts with thought leadership, articles and other relevant content that builds on our strategic credentials.

The kind of person we’re looking for:

  • You have a good understanding of primary and secondary research
  • You have experience in thinking and working strategically
  • You are endlessly curious and have a passion for the Charity, Education and Membership sectors
  • You are confident presenting and clearly communicating your thinking to our team and clients
  • You have excellent writing skills
  • You are comfortable working across different digital and offline channels
  • You are a people person and enjoy working as part of a small team
  • You are eager to learn and get stuck into a fast paced agency environment

  • Full-time role
  • Salary: £30k to £35k, depending on experience

Where you’ll be working

We operate a hybrid working model, with our team predominantly working from home Monday to Friday, typically spending 1-2 days a week in our Old Street office, and attending in-person client meetings when required.
