We’re proud to share Canal & River Trust’s first ever legacy TV advert: The Birdwatcher.

For centuries, our canals and rivers have brought us together — to make memories, share stories and find moments of peace and joy. Now it’s our turn to protect them.

This powerful new film will form the centrepiece of a new legacy campaign, created to inspire people to leave a gift that helps safeguard our waterways for generations to come.

From days spent exploring miles of canals to hours in the editing suite, this TV ad has been a true joy to work on. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.
